Gotta love Travelocity!!!!

Ok so something other than twilight today!
Dan works for the Gnome ( Travelocity!), and loves his job!!! The Senior V.P. Called him while he was on a business trip to Monatana two weeks ago. He asked how things were and than asked if he would like two tickets for a cruise for Dan and myself! Of course he said yes! The only catch was he told us on Wednesday and the cruise was for that Friday! Dan called my mom and asked if she would be willing to watch the kids for four days ( Friday- Monday) she said yes! So dan flew her up on Thur, while he flew from Montana to seattle on friday and I flew to seattle Friday Morning! Daniel almost missed the trip. In Montana they were ready to take off when they unloaded all the passengers beacuse of some mecahnical problems. Daniel thought there was hope until he saw the mechanic shrug and give up. Thats when He called to tell us he might not make it! Luckily the brought another plane ( I know it never happens like this!) And picked them up and flew them to seattle! Yeah!!!!
The Ship Mercury Boarded in Seattle and then went to Victoria and also Nanimo ( home of Nanimo bars! Divine!!!) in Canada and than back to seattle! The only other Travelocity peps on the cruise was a coworker of Dan's and his wife! We only saw them a little, but had a great time talking and eating with them when we did!!
We had a great time just the two of us! We realized we can still carry on a conversation that is not always about our kids or work! We like spending time together hanging out! We have the same taste in almost everything! And we love Dan's Job!!
I will say we missed our kids. But had a great time just being us! Here our some of our Pic's!

Having to say good bye! Dan had already planned a trip for seattle for Mon-wed before we were given the tickets! So he stayed in Seattle while I flew home! He was gone from the kids for 9 days! Yuck!!!
I don't get the dolphins! But the men inside were Philipino, so dan would tell them in Tagalog that they had big heads! They would always ripe the head of the costume off to see who said that! It was funny!

Has anybody else listened to Muse? WOW! The one Muse song for the soundtrack is, Super Massive Black Hole! When you listen to that and then think about the book it becomes a little, Ummmmmmm, I guess you could say darker or it has a little more of an edge to it! It makes Edward seem a little Harder than the wayI was thinking of him! WOW! Can you say Obsessed?!? Also thanks Shi! I feel better! I really want to go back and read them all again. But I need to get my life back so I loaned it to Dallin's first grade teacher! I hope she likes it. Hard to believe but she had never heard of it! Also has anybody seen the new poster!!!! It looks great! I thought Edward looked to sweet in the last one! Don't forget to look at the new trailer for the movie on the right hand side of my blog! It is awesome! Also I am so excited that the date is 11-21-08!!!!! Sweet! Mark your calendar and get the parties planned!

WOW!!!

So I know I havent written in a while. Dan's work gave him two free tickets for a cruise ( I will post picures soon!)! So we went on that, and then I came home ( Dan stayed for a work trip that had already been planned!) to find that all four kids were really sick. Dallin welcomed me home with throwing up on the couch! Gotta love being a mom!

But the biggest reason is I have been so preocupied is with the books, I know every one else has read, The Twlight Saga.

I had bought the first book at the airport because I had more than an hour of waiting time. I read a few chapters and then was, as I said, 'welcomed' with sick kids. When Dan came back home from his work trip I thought I would pick it up for a little while ( yeah right!)! That was thursday and I just finished number four today! I could not stop reading them!!!!! As soon as I finished with one I had to pick up the next! They had me hooked! As I finished the last book I wanted to cry! It felt so strange to have to finally say good bye to these 'characters' after being a witness of their 'lives' for so long! I know for those of you who have never read them, it all sounds so funny and stupid. But as one of my dear friends said " You can't have an opinon about them until you have read them!"! She was right! I laughed at the thought of how these books could ever be any good. And how stupid it was that everyone loved them! Well I see why now!!!

I have to say though that I am very nervous about the movie! I don't think there is any way it can turn out even slightly as good as the books! I guess I will see!

Since Edward and Bella have found peace in their lives( can you say cheeessssyyy) I guess my family can too! ( My house looks awfull and Dan would really like me to come back to them!! LOL)

Good bye summer hello first grade!!!

This is Dallin's first day of first grade! Our camer had broke and a friend took some pictures of Dan and Dallin at school! (thanks!) Can you say so cute!!! And so tall! Dallin is one of the tallest kids his age! Funny he came out short 19in and 8lb80z. We never thought he would be a tall one! I guess he could surprise us all!

Princess Party!

Emma just had her big birthday bash!!! I was crazy and we ended up ( still not getting everyone we invited!) with 12 little girls and Dallin! I was excited and nervous all at the same time! I think Emma was just excited! It turned out great!!! All the girls were wonderful to have over! The theme was a Princess Pary! We made necklaces, kissed a frog, popped a pea and every one (except Dallin) was crowned a princess!! It was great! Emma and Dallin helped with taking the presents when the girls came in, being the last (or not at all with Dallin) in games, crowns and wands, pizza, and kissing frogs, And helping out whenever needed! Dallin was the only boy around ( besides Dad) And he was very ok with that! He was quick to help and tell them how to do things! Emma was the perfect host! She was very good to say thank you with every gift and to oooh and awwwwe with each one as well! But by the end of the night she was very tired! Still no casualties! And every one went home happy! ( some probably very tired and sugared up!)
Dan and our friend Stephanie helped make everything smooth and easy! It was great to have their help and advice!!! So the big question would I do it again???? Yes! I have to! Dallin's B-day is 4 weeks away and he saw how much fun Emma had!!!!

A new addition!!!!

We have a new family member! He is short, white, and five months old! No not a baby just a very cute puppy!!! Tully/Buddy/Wally/Bart ( If you haven't guessed yet we are still working on a name!) came to live with us on Sept 17th! We fell instantly in love with him, especially Emma and Daddy! He has given us a few moments of trouble, Peeing in the house twice, not wanting to sleep downsatairs alone, and climbing on the deck to try to get back in the house! But I have to say over all he has been the perfect dog!!! He listens really well! ( he has not had an accident since the first day!) He walks on a leash like a dream! And he loves to snuggle at your feet! Funny things about him- He sleeps on his back with his paws in the air! It is so funny to see! He loves to play fetch but is still working on the bringing it back part! He prefers to sleep by Dan and really, loves to be by him! And when you scratch his belly his leg thumps along! ( Dan laughs every time!) I forgot to mention! He is a wheaten, Scottish Terrier! Too Cute!!!


( Lilly was taking a nap! We did not replace her with the dog! Trust me, she would not be the first choice to replace!! Just kidding! Well kind of!)
