Ricochet

So tonight we went to pig out in the park. For all of you who don't live in Spokane that is a food festival downtown. They have food from a lot of different vendors and live music! Tonight we listened to the band Ricochet! They sing Daddy's Money. They also sang a lot of other songs. Doobie brothers, ACDC, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Ray Charles! They did a great job and it was fun! Dallin, and Emma were out by the third song( it was 9:30pm)! Liya loved it and ran around even though she never did have a nap ( we only tried three times to get her down!!!!)! And Lilly as always was good! Hungry but good! They all were a sleep when we started the car! Too funny!!

Trying Hard!!

We are trying hard to get in to good habits for the fall! This summer was full of wonderful things! But also a lot of crazy! So we are implementing- a job chart for the kids, new bed times, and reading our scriptures!! We are on chapter 5 in 1st Nephi so we have a long way to go, but we are starting somewhere!!! I am very excited for school to start! Dallin and Emma are both needing activities and to learn and right now I am not able to give them everything they need with two smaller ones! So I am looking forward to school and the fun activities that come when that starts dance, soccer, piano! Here is to the fall!!!

My girls!

So who in a million years would have thought I would have one boy and three beautiful girls? Ok I know some of you are saying you did, but I never thought I would be! For those who don't know I have five very manly brothers, I mean that in a good way! And I have only one sister, who is also very manly, just kidding Rachel!!!! She is very beautiful but definitely not a girly girl.

So when I thought about having kids I thought boys. So it still shocks me that I have not 1 or 2 but 3 beautiful, very head strong, intellegent girls! And I love it!

My oldest Emma, is my first princess! She wants everything girly, and to be everything girly! From Hanah Montana to Cinderella, or from wanting to be a mom to a ballerina she is all girl! She is also as curious as Curious George. She never means to really get into trouble it just seems to find her! And she always has a great explanation as why! But she is my Joy!!! She is my giver and my most compassionate one! She always keeps trying to help others! I look forward to the day that she and I will be great friends!

My second princess Aliya, is my head strong little girl! Anything and everything is her way! From the minute she came into this world she knew what she wanted and she usually( if not always) gets it! Her eyes are our weakness, or I should say her Dads! Aliya is Daddys girl and can get away with murder if she wanted too! But more than anything she wants to be exactly like her Big sister (I get it now rachel!), and to do whaterver she is doing! She aslo is my biggest talker! ( for those who know my Emma that is hard to believe but it is true!) We are always surprised by what she says!

My last princess Lilly, is my perfect baby! She came out slowly, has slept through the night from birth and ate like nobodys business! She loves to be around everyone but loves naps and bedtime too! I think she is our peacemaker already! She is also already showing that even though she's number 4 she can still make a mark! She is our first to suck her thumb, it is the cutest thing you have ever seen! She is the first to sleep through the night. The longest over due baby yet ( 10 days)! Our biggest baby 9.5lbs! And the first to have a favorite blanket and/or teddy! She is the cutest little thing, who never stops smiling!

As I realize how lucky I am to have 4 beautiful healthy babies, I aslo realize I am scared to death of having 3 teenage daughters!!

OFF THE MARKET

So we are officially off the Market!!! Yeah!! It feels good. A little stupid. but all the wiser! We love Spokane, the ward, and neighborhood! And we really do love this house!

We're all together again!!!

We picked up Dallin on Saturday! We had a great day of horseback riding, huckelberry picking, boating and swimming with our Spencer cousins and Papa Ed! ( thanks Tom and Family for the horses And Papa Ed for boating) It was a blast! Sorry I don't have pics yet ( our camera broke (with help) before we left for the trip!) ! Dan left again on Sunday for a business trip( Never roam alone!!!)! He just got back from his rough trip of mountian biking, white water rafting, and great food! So we are all together again! At least for a little while! Now just time to re-group, re-focus and get some sleep!

Our Rachel!!!!!!!

Ok so a little late but Rachel's Birthday was on the 9th of August! There is not a question of how much "Our Rachel" means to us! She has always been there for our family. And especially our kids! Rachel has been there for all of our kids after their birth's. If she could, I know she would be closer to us right now!!! Emma talks about how someday she will be, "Big like Rachel"! Dallin is at his Papa Ed's house in Montana for this whole week! He was excited to go but I don't know how to do this! He doesn't need his mom every minute and that scares me a little. Sunday night I relized as I talked to Dan that someday Dallin will go away to college, Go on a mission, and someday get married. And I realized that is so scary!!!

I still remember when I was 5months pregnant with him sitting at our kitchen table and crying about how I didn't know if I could do this, and I wasn't sure if I was ready. Well now he is almost 7 and those same feelings are popping up about the future! I LOVE MY BABY BOY!!!!!!!

Even after having 3 girls I realize that there is something very special about a baby boy! Especially ours!

Dans band!!! ( Oh Brother )

Dan's band Oh Brother played Trout Creek Mt. on Saturday! We had a great time! Lots of good music and great fun! I will try and put up some of the video's we took. Here are some pics!

We are HUUUUUUGE FANS of the hot sexy singer Dan!!! He is too cute to watch and the kids love to dance and sing along with the band! We love our Dad!!!!

So we turned on the TV and realized it was the opening ceremony for the Olympics in China. It also happened to be 8:08 pm at our house. Wow we are good! I have fond memories of the opening ceremonies of the Utah winter Olympics. Dallin was a baby. And Rachel came over to our house and we all sat down and cheered. The Ice Skating was huge!!!

It was amazing to watch the Chinese opening ceremonies! Wow they are crazy and talented. That many people working together is awe inspiring! We moved it to the big screen!! You have to watch this on the biggest tv possible! Dallin loved it! He said he will watch it every four years now! Too cool!!!

Daniel and Mandi have quietly said that they are expecting!!! Yea!!!!!!!!! They would be due in April. We hope and pray for them that things go smooth! They got married in Finland in Feb 2008! We love Mandi and are overjoyed for them! Here are a few photos of the cute couple! We love you two!!

So I love to do my girls hair(when they let me of course!)! Since Emma was a tiny baby I would put her hair into little pigtails that made her look like a bug! But she would let me and I adored the out come! Well since then Emma's hair is longer and thicker and the hairstyles I try have come a long way. But I still love it. Aliya lets me do her hair every now and then, though I try with her everyday.
