Good bye summer hello first grade!!!

This is Dallin's first day of first grade! Our camer had broke and a friend took some pictures of Dan and Dallin at school! (thanks!) Can you say so cute!!! And so tall! Dallin is one of the tallest kids his age! Funny he came out short 19in and 8lb80z. We never thought he would be a tall one! I guess he could surprise us all!

Princess Party!

Emma just had her big birthday bash!!! I was crazy and we ended up ( still not getting everyone we invited!) with 12 little girls and Dallin! I was excited and nervous all at the same time! I think Emma was just excited! It turned out great!!! All the girls were wonderful to have over! The theme was a Princess Pary! We made necklaces, kissed a frog, popped a pea and every one (except Dallin) was crowned a princess!! It was great! Emma and Dallin helped with taking the presents when the girls came in, being the last (or not at all with Dallin) in games, crowns and wands, pizza, and kissing frogs, And helping out whenever needed! Dallin was the only boy around ( besides Dad) And he was very ok with that! He was quick to help and tell them how to do things! Emma was the perfect host! She was very good to say thank you with every gift and to oooh and awwwwe with each one as well! But by the end of the night she was very tired! Still no casualties! And every one went home happy! ( some probably very tired and sugared up!)
Dan and our friend Stephanie helped make everything smooth and easy! It was great to have their help and advice!!! So the big question would I do it again???? Yes! I have to! Dallin's B-day is 4 weeks away and he saw how much fun Emma had!!!!

A new addition!!!!

We have a new family member! He is short, white, and five months old! No not a baby just a very cute puppy!!! Tully/Buddy/Wally/Bart ( If you haven't guessed yet we are still working on a name!) came to live with us on Sept 17th! We fell instantly in love with him, especially Emma and Daddy! He has given us a few moments of trouble, Peeing in the house twice, not wanting to sleep downsatairs alone, and climbing on the deck to try to get back in the house! But I have to say over all he has been the perfect dog!!! He listens really well! ( he has not had an accident since the first day!) He walks on a leash like a dream! And he loves to snuggle at your feet! Funny things about him- He sleeps on his back with his paws in the air! It is so funny to see! He loves to play fetch but is still working on the bringing it back part! He prefers to sleep by Dan and really, loves to be by him! And when you scratch his belly his leg thumps along! ( Dan laughs every time!) I forgot to mention! He is a wheaten, Scottish Terrier! Too Cute!!!

( Lilly was taking a nap! We did not replace her with the dog! Trust me, she would not be the first choice to replace!! Just kidding! Well kind of!)

Thanks!!

So Dan came home from white water rafting! I had calmed down a lot! ( after I had written, my day had just intensified from there!)I had talked to some friends, who helped "talk me down off the ledge"! After Dan came home, the same friends and I went out and had girl time without kids! It was nice after a long day! When I came home I snuggled with dan on the couch and told him Suzanne said sorry ( ok I did it!), and watched man verses wild ( I know romantic!!!!). I have figured out my hair do's for church tomorrow! (Thanks Jamie for the advice!) And have everyone dressed in my head ( does that make sense??)!

So I feel much calmer and am very glad Dan is home safe! ( and not feeling sick!)

But as my brother Josh says, Just because your crazy doesn't mean their not out to get you!

So we didn't get that scotty dog!

So we didn't get the scotty dog from hayden Id. After a long process and lots of interviews and questions and one meeting, (No this dog did not come from the white house!) we were declined! I know it sounds a little crazy but we are not the ones making the decisions! So after all of that we support puppy mills! Ok not really but we are planning on buying a puppy and not a humane society dog. It was a really long process and we don't want to do that again with not ever knowing if we would get a dog in the end or not. We have two wheaten scotty dogs that we are looking at. And some black puppies that would be available in Nov. So right now no dog! Who knows what the plan is! Thanks for the support!

Can you say crazzzzzzzzzzzyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Combine the two!!

Ok so I know I haven't written for a while! I have been meaning to write but I get on and am distracted by other things. Such as we're trying to potty train Aliya. She is great at peeing in the potty, but she poops like a dog! Where ever she is she squats and poops. Like on pictures that had just fallen down or at the dr. office next to the bathroom or on the couch! (Yes, she is still alive! I promise! At least for right now!) I am also behind on Emma's birthday party announcments! I should do things 3 months ahead so when it comes down to it I am not freaking out! Her party is for next friday and we haven't sent out the invites yet! I have not bought anything for it! And Dan is out of town right now water rafting again! I am so fed up with him going and doing fun things! And I am left at home again with our kids! I think I need a vacation! So yes I am a little crazy!

Sisters

( Listen to somewhere over the rainbow Thanks!)
It is funny how as little girl's, sisters constantly fight! I watch Emma and Aliya and wonder how they will ever become friends! And yet, at times they are inseperable. It makes me think back to when Rachel and I were little. I remember at moments hating how she got some of my glory, and how annoyed I was that she would tag along with me ever!
And yet I have grown to love her so much! And when I say that it does not fully express home much she really means to me! There is a Sister in my ward who for a lot of reasons ( hair color, personality, dress) reminds me of Rachel! We went to the Temple last night and this sister was there! It took so much self control not to hug her or hold her hand or just want to really talk to her! I know that sounds really stupid! But as I sat next to her ( yes, I had to sit next to her!) I realized how much I really miss Rachel! My little sister! And how more than anything I want her to be happy in life! Truly happy! Whatever that means for her! I love her so much! And so as I said, it is funny to look at my two little girls and realize that some day they wont be little. And some day they won't hate eachother! In fact some day they will realize that not only are they sisters but they are also friends!

FINLAND!!

Rachel just came back from visiting Daniel and Mandi in Finland for five whole weeks!(crazy!!!) I think we are realize Now five weeks is a long time to be away from home and living with newlyweds! Oh well live and learn! Some highlights of her trip: Daniel and Mandi getting Sealed! Mandi getting her Endowments out! Mandi getting preganant! Of course meeting Mandi! Seeing great Architecture! Beautiful country side! And last but not least, playing with her little brother! Here are some amazing pictures of her trip!
Dark cellar they couldn't see the camera!
Can you say cute AND SINGLE!!!!!
Helsinki Temple

It rains a lot!
Poser!!!( sooo cute!!!)
Lesser sin the greater the sin the higher on the steps you would sit!
Just sealed!!

Silly kids!
Tough love!
Funny! Rachel said they came in and went to go sit down and Daniel sat on one side and Rachel, Mandi and Mandi's mom sat on the other side. It turns out in that back when, people sat like that, men on the left women on the right! Funny
Cute Gargoyles ( look close they might bite!)

Oh I hope, I hope, I hope!!!!

http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11789184
We have applied to adopt a Scottish Terrier dog named Scotty! He is from a shelter that is very good about trying to put the right dog with the right family! Second Chance Pet Rescue Hayden ID. We have been looking into adopting a dog for a while. I did some research and found that terriers are hypoallerginic! They shed very little if not at all! And they are a smaller bread of dogs! Which I would love! So I have hounded ( no pun intended) them for four days now and waited on pins and needles! I expected to get a call saying the dog is already gone. When she called today she laughed and said I had been stalking them!( See I said hounded) She asked us to fill out an application and said their were others who have applied for Scotty! She told me that it's not who applies first it is who is the best fit for the dog! So we sent in our application (10 min after getting it! We went over it again and again to make sure it looked great!)! So now we wait! I have told the kids there is a chance we might not get him and that is ok! They are all hopefull but also understand he is not ours yet! So I hope he is ours, but we will see!!!!

I would do it all again!

Ok so lately I have been going crazy! I don't want to do anything! Maybe you could call depression except I haven't felt sad or down just, ok, lazy(?)! I don't want to clean the house, do laundry, shower, take care of kids, cook, I don't want to do anything! I am totally burnt out from being a mom and the craziness of this summer! But because I am a mom I am doing those things ( I promise I'm showering!) I think it will all come back to me. You know the desire to be the super mom! super clean everything! Look faboulas! make sure the kids are faboulas! And cook the perfect meals! I think I just needed to get some really good sleep! No babies waking me up 3 times in the night, nobody sleeping with me ( kids!), and going to bed before midnight! Wow to be an adult! But even with that whole sour attitude, I would have my life any day!
