Dallin ( a man in the woods!)Dan came home from another weekend in Monatana Christmas treeing! When he came in to let me know he was home I was startled by this handsome hick! I could not stop laughing and of course had to grab My camera!
Lilly is growing up! She moved from the baby tub to the big tub! She Loves the water and thought it was great sitting up with the 'big girls'! Rub a dub dub three little girls in a tub!!!
I couldn't help myself! She was soooooo cute and as you can see not at all happy with me for doing this! Aliya was playing dress up with Dallin and Emma. She had to stop to tinkel! She called to me to help her and this was what I saw.....

For Halloween we decided after all of the kids parties at their schools we would have a lot more fun if we skipped the cold wet weather and headed to Silver Mountain water park! Some families from our ward were going so (Very Last minute!!!) We decided to go too! It was a little pricey but since all we paid for was the room and the water park was included it wasn't too bad! The kids got there fill of candy and trick or treating (They take you around the lodge to the shops to trick or treat!)! And we got decent nights sleep! In the morning we packed up our stuff except for our water park gear and after clothes and were headed off to play b y 10am! We had an awesome time!!! When we got to the water park it was nice and warm! I didn't know how much fun we could have with two babies (Aliya is 2 1/2 and Lilly 9 months)! Right away a friend took Lilly (thanks Stephanie!!) And the 5 of us hit the hard stuff!! We took Aliya and Emma on stuff that I never thought they would enjoy, but they did! Dan tried surfing a couple of times and thought it was cool! We loved the lazy river especially Aliya! And Dallin and Emma could not get enough of the hot tub! Dan and I pushed Dallin and Emma to try everything at least once! In some cases they loved it, in others not so much! By the end of the day (We stayed till 5pm!), I was amazed at how much fun we had (and how tired we were!) and decided that we HAD to come back!!! This is my only picture of Emma ( middle on the blue tube!), I never took one of lilly and when Dan tried to take one of me the battieries were dead! So lesson learned Think of pictures in the begining and not as an after thought! A friend took a picture of all of us together though! I will post it when I get them!Daniel tells me all the time how much he loves the age of 6 months-18 months! At that age the baby is still giggles and fun while still wanting to snuggle and sleep! Our little babies are are always a little slower at getting around to crawling , scooting, or walking! So it seems that our baby stage lasts a little bit longer! Daniel just loves that! He is quick to take them during church or to class! He begs to put them to bed( Just get get out of putting the other three to bed) and loves to hold them and snuggle them! And if I am having an extra hard day he lets lilly come in to his office and play on the floor while he works! It's great! And as you can see Lilly ( just like the other three did!) Love their Daddy at this stage too!
I have always struggled with finding a good schedule or just putting things in the right order for my day so that things run smoothly! I feel I run out of time with getting my house clean, laundry done, kids dressed, hair done, back and forth to schools, dog walked, sleep, scripture study, FHE, calling, everyone fed, bathed, and in bed! And lets not forget time to "re-connect" or any "me" time! So I am asking for some advice! If you have a good organizing trick, a schedule that works, or just any advice on how to make things feel or seem smoother, I would appreciate hearing it! Just trying to figure it out! ( I know you would think I have it all together by now!) Thanks!!
Halloween was a crazy-fun day! Dallin and Emma both had parties at their schools! Aliya supported Emma at her school, and Emma supported Dallin at his school! Dallin's teacher was a Buzzing Bumble Bee! Emma's teachers were a Chef and Aunt Sam! It was fun to see all the different costumes!They had a great time! And are already planning on next year!
We love the fall at our house! Of course we have 3 birthdays! But the leaves are amazing! The weather is brisk, and refreshing! And it shows it is time for the Holidays! We love the fall!
Dallin had his big #7 birthday! We had 4 friends over! Even though the number was small the energy level wasn't! Nathan, Logan, Asher and Ben were a Bundle of Super Hero excitment! Dallin was dressed as Batman! Dan did the Super hero "Training"! They Sprayed the "bad guy" with silly string, raced over an obstacle course, practiced super strength balloon poping and made awesome superhero masks! Dallin loved it! And loved there great ( all boy) gifts! When your the only boy in a house full of little girls it is nice to be all boy!!
